🧚🏽✨ What a magical day we had! ✨🏴☠️
Did you join us in Ellerslie Village for a day of enchantment?
On Sunday 10 September we had the much-loved Ellerslie Fairy Festival & Pirate Party for 2023 and what a day we had!
From 9.30am there was:
🎨 Fairy and Pirate face painting
🎠 Fun Amusement Rides
🍭 Fairy floss stands from Ellerslie School
🛍️ The General Collective Kids Market with 40+ stalls full of treasures
At 10.30am a procession welcomed dancing fairies, sword-fighting pirates and magical friends to the festival 🧚🏽🏴☠️
🎪 There were seven unique magical marquees hosting some very magical characters:
Pirate Cove – you could meet Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Tinkerbell
Superhero School – people brought their best moves for Spiderman and Batman!
Singing Princesses – lots of singing with Aerial and Princess Belle...
Dancing Fairies – ....and dancing with Fairy Buttercup, Fairy Blossom and Fairy Sweet Pea
Fairy Grotto – you could grab a pic with Fairy Rose and Fairy Poppy
Elsa and Anna – our Frozen favourites and a very popular marquee to visit!
Pirates Ahoy! – what were those mischief pirates up to?
Plus, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and some more of those mischief pirates were roaming the festival to meet some of their biggest fans.
The festival is a fun, FREE, family event for fairy and pirate fans of all ages and is only made possible due to the generous support of our partners, sponsors and community groups.
